The information of a carrier's cut-off time is very important for calculating an order's delivery date.

Depending on the cut-off time registered for a carrier, the products of an order will be sent on the same day or on the day after the payment approval.

Estimated delivery date is always calculated after payment approval

How the cutt-off time works

The cut-off time works as follows:

Example 1

  1. A carrier has a delivery time of 2 business days.
  2. An order that will be delivered by this carrier has its payment approved at 11:00 am on a Monday.
  3. The cut-off time registered for Monday is 15 hours.
  4. The calculation of the order's delivery date will consider Monday as d0. Therefore, the delivery date of the order will be calculated for Wednesday.

Example 2

  1. A carrier has a delivery time of 2 business days.
  2. An order that will be delivered by this carrier has its payment approved at 6:00 pm on a Monday.
  3. The cut-off time for Monday is 15 hours.
  4. The calculation of the order's delivery date will consider Tuesday as d0, since the payment was approved after the cut-off time. Therefore, the delivery date of the order will be calculated for Thursday.
The default cut-off time is 00:00.
