To access the page on VTEX Admin, go to **Catalog** > **Brands**.\n\n\n\n## Creating a Brand\nTo create a new brand, click on the `Create brand` button. Fill in the fields on the __New brand__ modal according to the information below.\n\nFirst, you must set your brand as **Active** or **Inactive** . An active brand will be displayed in the store and can have products associated with it. You can activate and deactivate a brand at any time.\n\n### Basic Information\nNext, you must fill in basic information about the brand you want to create.\n\n- **Name:** The name of the brand. This is a required field.\n\n### SEO\n\nIn this section, the fields influence how the brand will rank in search engines such as Google, Bing, etc.\n\n- **Page title:** This will be the title that users will see when accessing the page.\n- **Meta description:** This space is reserved for a summary, of up to 160 characters, of the main items that will be on the page.\n\n### Storefront\nUse this section to fill out information relevant to your store's menu and navigation.\n\n- **Show on menu:** button to enable or disable the display of the category in the store.\n\n## Searching Brands\nYou can find a brand using the search tool. Just click on the `Search Brands` text box and search for the desired brand name.\n\n## Editing, Activating or Deactivating a Brand\nYou can edit, activate or deactivate a brand by simply searching for it and clicking on the tool. Then, select one of the options below.\n\n- **Edit:** menu for changing the fields of your brand.\n- **Activate:** option that will activate your brand.\n-\t **Deactivate:** option that will deactivate your brand."}
