It is not necessary to [create a different sales channel](/en/docs/tutorials/creating-a-trade-policy) for each sales channel, as the same sales channel can be used in multiple channels.\n\nTo request a sales channel for a sales channel outside the VTEX ecosystem, such as a marketplace for which there is no [native connector](/en/docs/tutorials/marketplace-strategies-at-vtex#integrating-with-a-native-connector-vtex) for example, follow the flow of [Requesting a sales channel](#request-a-trade-policy)\n\nAdd a sales channel (trade policy)\n\nTo add a new trade policy, access the VTEX Admin. Users with the Owner (admin) role can perform this action directly through the interface.\n\nFor more information, see the article [Creating a sales channel (trade policy)](https://help.vtex.com/docs/tutorials/creating-a-trade-policy).\n\n## Billing rules\n\nEach VTEX customer has a defined amount in their contract for purchasing additional commercial policies, which incur a fee.
