There are already some pre-configured templates available on the platform, which may be customized according to user preference.\n\nThis funcionality is however not mandatory. You can opt out of sending these messages if that's more advantageous for the store.\n\nAs example, we will use the step-by-step on how to disable the banking invoice pending payment email, which is sent 48 hours after placing the order. It's worth noting that customizing this time interval is not possible. \n\nProceed with the following steps:\n\n1. In the VTEX Admin, go to __Store Settings > Email templates > Templates__ or type __Templates__ in the search bar at the top of the page.\n2. Type in __Payment Pending__ in the search box.\n3. Uncheck the __Enable sending emails?__ option.\n\n![Message Center - Desativar Template - EN](https://cdn.statically.io/gh/vtexdocs/help-center-content/refs/heads/main/docs/en/tutorials/message-center/templates/how-to-disable-a-transactional-email_1.png)\n\n4. Click `Save`.\n\nFrom now on, banking invoice pending payment emails will no longer be sent out."}
