With this option, customers can choose a specific day to receive their orders at a given address. \n\nTo offer [scheduled deliveries](/en/docs/tutorials/scheduled-delivery), you must add delivery windows to the [shipping policy](/en/docs/tutorials/shipping-policy) of the [carrier](/en/docs/tutorials/carriers-on-vtex) in question. Once this is done, the periods and days available for this type of delivery will be displayed at your store's checkout. \n\n> ⚠️ For [Scheduled delivery](/en/docs/tutorials/scheduled-delivery) and [Delivery capacity](/en/docs/tutorials/managing-delivery-capacity) to perform correctly, you must follow the rules below:<ul><li>The result from \\{[account name](/en/docs/tutorials/what-is-an-account-name)\\} + \\{shipping policy ID\\} cannot exceed 60 characters.</li><li>Do not use spaces in [shipping policy IDs](/en/docs/tutorials/creating-a-shipping-policy).</li></ul>\n\nPlease note that the availability of scheduled deliveries depends on the services offered by the contracted carrier to your store, as defined in the shipping policy.
