However, if they want to make any changes to the data entered during their first purchase, they must confirm the **ownership of the email account** in question.\nFor this, some alternatives are offered, including **Facebook**.\n\n## Registering a Client Id and a Client Secret for login with Facebook\n\nTo configure a Facebook registration, follow the instructions detailed in [this article about the registration of Client Id and Client Secret for login with Facebook](/en/docs/tutorials/adding-a-client-id-and-a-client-secret-to-log-in-with-facebook).\n\n## Configuring login on VTEX\n\nAfter configuring the Facebook registration, you need to configure this login option on VTEX.\n\n1. In the **Account Settings** module, click on the **Authentications** tab.\n2. Click on the **Edit** button corresponding to Facebook.\n3. Click on the **Save** button.\n5. To confirm that your login was successful, go to the front-end of your store and click on **Login**. \n6. The configured login options will be shown.
