{"section":"tracks","requestedLocale":"en","requestedSlug":"allowing-order-replacement","locale":"en","slug":"allowing-order-replacement","path":"docs/en/tracks/vtex-modules-getting-started/orders/allowing-order-replacement.md","branch":"main","content":"**Order Replacement** allows customers in your store to change data in orders already placed.\n\nThe goal is to help them correct errors without having to manually place a new order or contact your support, which facilitates the operation of your store and reduces costs.\n\n> ⚠️ Orders with [partial invoices](/en/docs/tracks/partial-invoices) cannot be [canceled](/en/docs/tutorials/canceling-orders). If the customer wants to replace or remove items from the order, it is possible to [change the order](/en/docs/tutorials/changing-items-from-a-complete-order).\n\n## Enabling order replacement\n\nThis feature is available to all stores. To enable it, follow the steps below:\n\n1. In the VTEX Admin, go to **Store Settings > Orders > Settings**, or type *Orders* in the search bar at the top of the page and select *Store Settings / Orders*.\n2. On the **General** tab, in the **Order replacement** field, select the checkbox <a class=\"far fa-check-square\"></a> `Allow customers to make changes to orders`.  \n3.
