With this improvement, merchants who offer deferred payment through custom notes payable can provide a wider variety of payment conditions. Now, you can configure up to 100 in the **Notes Payable** section of the VTEX Admin, under **Store Settings > Payment > Settings > Custom Payments**.\n\nEach note payable is still configured the same way, as described in [Setting up payments with Notes Payable](/en/docs/tutorials/setting-up-payments-with-notes-payable).\n\n## Why did we make this change?\n\nMany merchants, especially those operating in B2B, negotiate specific payment terms with each customer, with different due dates, billing rules, and margins. The previous limit of 20 notes payable restricted the number of conditions a merchant could offer.\n\n## What needs to be done?\n\nTo access this improvement, open a ticket with [VTEX Support](https://supporticket.vtex.com/support) and request activation of the new limit for custom notes payable on your account."}
