With this feature, while browsing, the customer sees only the products they can buy, based on available inventory and the [delivery options](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-options) that are valid for their address.\n\nActivation, which previously required a request to Support, is now done directly in the VTEX Admin, in a guided flow.\n\n## What has changed?\n\nWith the general availability of Delivery Promise:\n\n- **Activation in the VTEX Admin:** the new **Delivery Promise** page automatically checks whether your account is compatible and guides you through the activation steps.\n- **Test before you publish:** you can activate test mode and configure the components in the store without affecting the production store.\n- **Publishing to production from the Admin:** after you configure the store, you publish Delivery Promise for the customers of the selected trade policies.\n\nThe benefits for the shopping experience remain the same:\n\n- Display of only the products that can be delivered to the customer's address.\n- Filters by delivery and pickup options, shipping time frames (such as same-day or next-day delivery), and nearby pickup points.\n- Greater visibility for the catalog of sellers that meet the customer's delivery criteria.\n- Greater visibility for physical stores through pickup filters for nearby pickup points.\n\n## What needs to be done?\n\nTo use Delivery Promise, your account must meet the [feature requirements](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise#requirements), including the use of Intelligent Search. If the account is eligible, you can use Delivery Promise at no additional cost.\n\nTo activate the feature, follow the instructions in [Activating Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/activate-delivery-promise). Activation is done in a guided flow in the VTEX Admin, in **Storefront > Delivery Promise**, with the following steps:\n\n1. **Activate test mode:** select the trade policies where Delivery Promise will be used and confirm the conditions of use. Test mode doesn't affect the production store.\n2. **(Optional) Review delivery options:** choose which options appear as filters for customers in the store.\n3. **Configure the storefront:** implement or configure the Delivery Promise components according to your store's technology.\n4. **Publish to production:** publish the store version that contains the changes and activate Delivery Promise for customers.\n\n>⚠️ The configuration and publishing steps require access to the store code. Only users with the account's Super Admin role can publish Delivery Promise to production.\n\n## Learn more\n\n- [Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise)\n- [Activating Delivery Promise](/en/docs/tutorials/activate-delivery-promise)\n- [Delivery Promise: FAQ](/en/docs/tutorials/delivery-promise-faq)\n- [Setting up Delivery Promise components](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/setting-up-delivery-promise-components)\n- [Delivery Promise for FastStore](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/faststore/features-delivery-promise)\n- [Delivery promise for headless stores](https://developers.vtex.com/docs/guides/delivery-promise-for-headless-stores)"}
