This new feature was developed to simplify and streamline deletion requests, while keeping compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).\n\n## What will change?\n\nCurrently, deleting customer personal data is requested by opening a ticket with VTEX Support, following a manual process. Starting **April 09, 2025**, authorized merchants can request data deletion directly through Copilot, making the process faster and simpler. \n\n## What needs to be done?\n\nOnly authorized merchants will be able to request customer data deletion through Copilot.
