It functions as an automatic scheduler for recurring orders at the frequency requested by the user.\n\nThe customer indicates how often they want to repeat the purchase of a particular SKU and the system automatically reorders the SKU according to the scheduled period, which we call a subscription cycle.\n\nIn the VTEX Admin, in **Orders > Subscriptions**, there are two pages —  [Dashboards](/en/docs/tutorials/how-to-manage-subscriptions), where you can track and supervise existing subscriptions, and [Settings](/en/docs/tutorials/how-to-manage-subscriptions#settings), for configuring your subscriptions. A subscription will only appear in the list after the first payment has been approved.\n\n> ⚠️ Currently, only purchases made with **credit cards** are eligible for subscriptions. Please enable all credit card conditions already set for [recurring purchases](/en/docs/tutorials/how-to-set-up-recurrence-in-payment-conditions) in your payment settings. In addition, it is required that your payment connector accepts recurring payments.
